Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)#

Virtual Machines and limits#

How many Virtual Machines can I create in one Workspace?#

By default, each Workspace allows the creation of up to 10 Virtual Machines. If you need to create more Virtual Machines, you can request a limit increase by submitting a support request from the myDelska platform.

Please note: To speed up the review process, include the number of additional Virtual Machines you need and a short explanation of your planned use case.

How can I request a VM limit increase?#

To request a VM limit increase, open the Support section in the myDelska platform and submit a new request. Please include:

  • your Workspace name;
  • the number of additional VMs required;
  • the expected purpose or workload;
  • the preferred location, if relevant.

The request will be reviewed by the Delska team. In some cases, additional information may be required before the limit can be increased.

Why can’t I create a new Virtual Machine?#

A new Virtual Machine may fail to create for several reasons, for example:

  • the Workspace VM limit has been reached;
  • there are not enough funds on the balance;
  • the selected configuration or location is temporarily unavailable;
  • required account or payment verification is not completed;
  • there is a temporary technical issue or maintenance on the platform.

Please check your balance, Workspace limits, selected VM configuration, and payment status, or submit a support request and include a screenshot or error message.

Can I upgrade my Virtual Machine?#

Yes, you can upgrade your Virtual Machine from the Dashboard by opening the VM and going to the Upgrade section. Select the required configuration and confirm the upgrade.

Please note: The Virtual Machine will be stopped during the upgrade process.

Can I rebuild or reinstall my Virtual Machine?#

If you need to rebuild or reinstall a VM, please check the available VM management options in the platform. If the required action is not available or you are unsure how to proceed, submit a support request before making changes.

Please note: Reinstallation or rebuild actions may delete existing data, and the public IP address of the VM may change. Always make sure you have a valid backup before proceeding.

Billing and payments#

Why is my payment not visible in myDelska yet?#

Some payments may take additional time to appear in the platform, depending on the payment method, payment provider, or manual verification requirements. If your payment is not visible after a reasonable processing time, submit a support request and include payment details.

Please include:

  • payment date;
  • paid amount;
  • Workspace name;
  • payment method;
  • payment confirmation, if available.

How can I request VAT-free invoices or Reverse Charge status?#

To request VAT-free invoicing or Reverse Charge status, submit a support request and provide the necessary company information and documents for verification. The Delska team will review the request and update the billing setup if the requirements are met.

Please note: VAT treatment depends on customer status, country, provided documentation, and applicable tax rules. The request must be reviewed before VAT settings can be changed.

Backup#

How can I create a backup for my Virtual Machine?#

Open the VM from the Dashboard, go to the Backup section, and choose whether you want to create a One-Time Backup or configure a Scheduled Backup.

What is the difference between One-Time Backup and Scheduled Backup?#

A One-Time Backup is created manually at the moment you start it. A Scheduled Backup is created automatically according to the schedule you configure.

What happens when I restore a backup?#

When a backup is restored, a new VM is created from the selected backup. The restored VM is created separately and does not overwrite the original VM.

Please note: The restored VM will be created with a prefix such as restored-*.

What happens to backups if I delete a VM?#

If you delete a VM, all related data and backups will be lost. Before deleting a VM, make sure you have exported or saved any data you still need.

API access#

Does myDelska provide API access?#

API access may be available for selected use cases. If you need API access, submit a support request and describe what you would like to automate or integrate.

Network and restrictions#

Why is outbound TCP port 25 blocked by default?#

Outbound TCP port 25 is blocked by default to prevent spam and other malicious activity. If you need to use this port, additional validation is required — see Registration restrictions.

To request unblocking, submit a support request from the myDelska platform and describe your use case.

Support#

What is the response time for support requests?#

The response time for support requests is up to 24 hours within working days from the date of receipt of the request.

Please note: This is the response time for support desk feedback. Resolution time may depend on the complexity of the request.
