myDelska API#
Using the myDelska API, you can access platform features and automate the creation and management of virtual machines in your environment.
Before you start#
To begin using the myDelska API, the customer must:
- Login to your account;
- Create a Workspace (if you don’t have one);
- Add your payment method in the Billing section;
- Save the SSH key in the profile Settings section (see How-to);
- Make sure that the API feature is available for the account. (The API documentation here).
How to enable API for a Workspace#
Even if the API feature is already available for the customer account, it still needs to be enabled separately for the specific Workspace where it will be used.
To do this:
- Open the main menu;
- Select Account;
- Choose the required Workspace;
- Enable OpenAPI for that Workspace;
- Generate an Access Token for authentication in API requests.
How to use the API#
Once OpenAPI is enabled and an Access Token has been created, the customer can start using the myDelska API, for example, to create and manage virtual machines.
